Cookie policy

This page explains what caskandcrate.dk stores on your device, in line with the Danish Executive Order on cookies (cookiebekendtgørelsen) and the EU ePrivacy rules.

1. The short version

We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and we do not use third-party tracking tools. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.

2. What we do store

Both are strictly necessary: one provides a function you asked for (choosing a language), the other supports our responsible-drinking age check. Neither requires consent, neither contains personal data, and neither is ever sent to us or anyone else.

3. Fonts and third parties

Our fonts are hosted on our own server. Visiting the site does not contact Google or any other third-party service. Links to other websites, such as our Nigerian sister site, are governed by those sites' own cookie policies.

4. Server logs

Like every website, our host records technical data such as your IP address when pages are requested. This is not a cookie; it is covered in our privacy policy.

5. How to remove stored data

You can delete local storage at any time in your browser settings, usually under "Clear browsing data" or "Site data". The site will then open in the default language and show the age check again.

6. If this changes

If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first through a banner that lets you accept or decline, and we will update this page.
